  1. i’ve only heard of dave barnes recently. i don’t think he’ll have such a prominent role in my top ten in the future, but he’s alright.the bees and birdmonster i can thank paste magazine for.as for johnny cash, well, i just so happened to discover this hidden gem…

  2. Kinks, Cash and Dylan! I’m totally cool with those. Otherwise, I don’t know what ya sayin’. Gnarls Barkley – wasn’t he a basketball player or something?Yeah, Classic Rock Grandpa…

  3. gnarls barkley is one of those rare finds that treats all music as music. or at least pop music.one thing i could say about this soul/rock collabo w/ a hip-hop backbone is that they like hair-metal bands. not that you do (and i sure don’t), but that is a testament to their love of all sorts of pop music.
